Serra International Foundation Give Day
By the numbers:
The Need for the Serra International Foundation
The Church's vocations crisis —
and why our mission matters more than ever
Your gift helps ensure every parish has a pastor — today, 1 in 3 don't
Global seminary enrollment has fallen every single year since 2012 — dropping from 108,481 candidates in 2022 to 106,495 in 2023 alone
Today there are 35,000 priests in the U.S., down 40% since 1970 — Give Day helps fund the next generation
A gift to Give Day supports seminarians on their path to the priesthood, helping close the gap from 1 priest per 810 in 1970 Catholics to today's 1 per 2,025
For 75 years, through your generosity, the Serra International Foundation has provided grants that have supported vocation initiatives, seminarian support, leadership development, and international outreach. Our Foundation helps ensure that future priests and religious receive the encouragement, formation, and resources they need to answer God’s call, building a pipeline to filling empty pulpits.
Support Vocations and Help Us Reach Our Goal!
Raised: $42,110
Stretch Goal: $45,000
Empower vocations. Strengthen faith
for generations. Give today.
On St. Junipero Serra’s Feast Day, we celebrate a missionary spirit rooted in faith, courage, and a commitment to building the future of the Church.
I invite every Serra member to join our Serra International Foundation Give Day by making a gift in support of vocations. Your generosity helps provide resources, encouragement, and formation opportunities for those discerning a call to the priesthood and religious life. Together, we can honor St. Junipero Serra’s legacy by helping others answer God’s call with confidence and hope.

It is good to support the work of God through His Priests to expand the outreach to bring Jesus to the lost and the needy. It is also a blessing for the giver.

Our club has been a recipient of the Foundation's charitable giving in the past and I want to ‘pay it forward.’
